Atma Jaya University is one of the best private campuses in the city of Yogyakarta and was founded by lay people and managed by the Slamet Rijadi Foundation – Yogyakarta, under the protection of Saint Albertus Magnus.
The campus, which is also commonly referred to as UAJY, aims to participate in educating the nation through education that has a local dimension and is globally oriented.
In organizing its education, UAJY is based on the spirit of Serviens in Lumine Veritatis (serving in the light of truth) and the principles of integrity, transparency and accountability, innovation, multiculturalism, openness, sustainability, and siding with the weak.
In addition, UAJY also participates in educating the nation’s life, forming people who are cultured, civilized, moral, superior, and respect diversity.

Faculties of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta
Currently, there are 6 faculties of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta and 13 departments. Here is the explanation:
1. Faculty of Economics and Business
Since November 2018, the Faculty of Economics has changed its name to the Faculty of Business and Economics to increase involvement and quality at the international level by preparing for international accreditation.
Currently, FEB UAJY has three departments, namely:
a. Management Economics
The Management Economics Department is the forerunner of FEB UAJY. This department was originally called Economics then changed its name to Management Economics.
This department not only focuses on providing education, but also research, and community service through the application of sustainable management science based on digital technology and with a global perspective
B. Accounting
The Accounting Department of FEB UAJY has five concentrations, namely Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Public Accounting, and Accounting Information Systems.

2. Faculty of Biotechnology
The next Faculty of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta is Technobiology which has existed since 1990 under the name of the Faculty of Biology.
Then in 2007 it changed its name to the hair transplant digital marketing Faculty of Technobiology with one Biology Study Program. Currently, this faculty organizes two departments, namely:
a. Biology
The Biology Department of the Faculty of Technobiology UAJY equips you with various biological sciences so that you can become an academic, researcher or other jobs that can benefit many people.
b. Food Technology
